Pottery and Paint at The Old Barn

1. Choose your own piece of Pottery

We have a large selection of pottery for you to choose from including mugs, plates, pet bowls, dinosaurs, animal collectables, fairies, money boxes, plant pots Christmas baubles and decorations and lots more.

So you can choose from one-off personalised gifts, celebration plates for special occasions, personalised mugs for any occasion or baby keepsakes or some time to get crafty with the children or a group of adults.

2. Choose your Colours

We have 31 different colours to choose from, so something for everyone.

3. Paint your Pottery

You can paint your own unique design onto your chosen piece, you can draw out a design in pencil as this will disappear when the pottery is fired. Staff are available to offer any help or advice that you might need.

4. Finished pieces

When you have finished your masterpiece, you leave it with us and we will glaze and fire the pottery. Items are ready for collection in around a week but if you need it for a certain date let us know and we will try and accommodate



Cost

All the pottery items are individually priced, but prices start from £8. We DO NOT charge a studio fee like lots of other companies so the price you see is the price you pay. Pottery must be paid in full at the time of painting.

Pottery Parties

Pottery parties are great for children or even for a group of adults. We aim to make them as stress-free as possible for you.

Minimum 8 guests. Maximum 24 guests.

You are welcome to bring your own cake and candles

Our parties for children are £16 per child, this includes hot or cold food, and unlimited squash

Children can choose any item from our £12 pottery range which includes, Dinosaurs, fairies, animals, small plate or regular mug.

There is a special party plate for the birthday child on all parties, where each guest will leave a finger print on the plate and it will be made into a lovely keepsake for the birthday child

All parties are for 1 hour and 30 minutes and you have exclusive use of the courtyard room.

All painted items will be available to collect a week after the party.

Group Bookings

We welcome group booking and remember its not just for Children!

By prior arrangement we can also accommodate bookings in the evening where you are welcome to bring along your own alcohol.

We also offer our mobile service to come to your group, so if you would like us to visit your Nursery, school, play group, WI meeting, Cubs, brownies or any other organisation then let us know. We can also help you fundraise and earn money for your organisation.

In your own home

We also offer the facility to paint pottery in your own home. You can collect a box with everything you need to have an afternoon or evening of painting at home with family or friends. You just return the box with your pieces painted and we will glaze and fire then for you .

We can also offer children’s parties in your home, we will bring along everything you need and help run the pottery painting. Prices start at £12 per child.
